Lots of museums, science centers, and other places have special scout-related badge and patch programs. Here's one place to list them.

Please note that for Girl Scouts, many of these programs may still be geared toward the older GS badge requirements, not the new ones.

United States[]

Maryland[]

  • Maryland Science Center, Baltimore MD. This science center offers Camp-ins for scouts that include workshops, planetarium shows, and more. Subjects vary with the exhibits on display.

  • Center of Science and Industry, Columbus, OH. This is a great museum for all ages just for regular visits. For scouts, they have camp-ins and badge workshops.

Washington, DC[]

Tennessee[]

  • Nashville Zoo offers scheduled badge workshops throughout the year: Daisy Eco Learner, Brownie Bugs, Junior Animal Habitats, and Cadette Animal Helper. Sign up on the Zoo’s website.
